It all began...
"When I was a kid  with a waist level box camera, I had fun taking snap shots of my friends doing the things kids do.
I had no idea, later it would become my passion, my art."

"I was many things before I became a photographer; a mechanic, an electronics technician in the Air Force,  a
supervisor at a lab that tested metals, studied computer science, a husband, a father, later a soccer coach.  The
journey has been one of many paths, each of these paths has contributed to my understanding of people, while
honing my skills and abilities of my craft and contributing to my art.  The journey continues."

My philosophy...
To use my expertise and multi-disciplined background to assure professional results.  Whether I am in a factory on
location, in the studio capturing the personality of a subject for a portrait, or setting the lighting for products, I want to
provide my clientle with creative images, ideas and solutions accompanied with truly professional and attentive
service.

... for interiors and architecture,
When creating images for Architects, Builders, Designers and Developers, my goal is to capture your vision and 3-
dimensional projects in a dynamic 2-dimensional format for display, portfolios, web applications and advertising.
My approach to lighting interiors is to use supplemental lighting only when necessary to enhance areas too dark for
reproduction purposes or to highlight an area of interest.  "Being located in Southwestern PA with the lowest number
of sunny days available in the United States you learn to see and appreciate light, and use it wisely!"

... for people,
Some cultures believe that when you take a picture of somebody, you also take a bit of their soul.  Maybe that's why
many folks are uncomfortable when having their picture taken.  I do know this, the eyes can tell the person's story,
above all else it's the eyes.  Also, you can not expect a good picture of somebody if they are nervous or
uncomfortable.  "My specialty when working with people; the ability to capture relaxed and emotionally connected
images."

... industry and products.
I have developed and perfected my skills and understand the different techniques and science of lighting.  How you
choose to use light or its' absence can create such a range of feelings, even when viewing inanimate objects.  You
can create texture, or minimize it.  Create drama or mood where perhaps it is lacking, provide texture the viewer can
visually feel or light to show all the details.  Whether it is a sweater, the newest widget, or one of the most advanced
pieces of machinery in the industry and your company wants to promote it's new abilities, the right light and creative
composition will make a difference.

"Every business needs to communicate information about their products or services.  My skills and abilities will help
you convey that message in the images we create for your business, providing creative solutions to your imaging
needs."
